About This Spot

Perched gently along the Chao Phraya River, JOJO SEAFOOD RIVERSIDE invites you into a quiet refuge from the lively hum of Bangkok’s Chinatown. As the sun slips toward evening, the terrace comes alive with soft light and a slow, comfortable rhythm, where the city skyline twinkles beyond the water’s edge. There’s a sense of ease here—a place to pause, watch boats drift by, and settle into the gentle murmur of conversation, punctuated by the occasional clink of glasses.

This is the kind of spot where the atmosphere feels thoughtfully unpretentious yet quietly special, the kind of local eatery that knows its surroundings intimately. It’s not just about a meal but sharing moments that stretch a little longer, whether you’ve wandered here by tuk-tuk from bustling streets or found your way seeking the river’s embrace.

On the plate, JOJO SEAFOOD RIVERSIDE delivers a seafood experience colored by warmth and freshness. Imagine the comforting weight of a hot pot filled with tender grouper or the playful sweetness mingling in baked rice served inside a pineapple. The flavors offer balance—sometimes fragrant with garlic and pepper, other times lively with the zing of papaya salad or the sharp kick of tom yum. These dishes don’t shout for attention; they invite you to enjoy them alongside slow sips of young coconut juice or a cold Singha, grounded in the slow unwinding of a riverside evening.

Service here carries the friendly familiarity of a neighborhood spot, attentive without rush, as if quietly mindful of each guest’s quiet enjoyment. Though the restaurant draws visitors with its view and calm ambiance, it speaks just as warmly to locals who choose it as a steady favorite—comfortable enough for a casual meal, special enough for an evening remembered.

Whether you come seeking a taste of fresh river prawns or simply to savor a gentle night by the water, JOJO SEAFOOD RIVERSIDE feels like one of those unexpected pauses in a city always moving—a place to lean back, breathe in the river breeze, and linger a little longer over the simple joy of good food and quiet company.

Jojo Seafood Riverside offers delicious and fresh seafood with a very nice riverside atmosphere. The setting is comfortable and relaxing, especially in the evening. The food quality is good and portions are decent, but the prices are a bit on the expensive side compared to similar seafood restaurants. Still, the taste and ambiance make it worth trying at least once. Overall, a good experience if you don’t mind paying a little extra for the view and atmosphere.

Got brought here from a little tok took we told him we wanted a local restaurant. Didn’t check reviews first. But it didn’t let us down. It was good. Service was good.

This restaurant was our first experience in Chinatown. The tuk tuk driver took us there when we asked to go to China Town. Now that we've had several experiences in Chinatown, we found this place to be great if you want a view of the river. However, when it comes to food, it's a bit pricey, average 400 Thai Baht . But, the food was good and the service was great!

Very good experience for us, I see the comments that this is a scam we didn't have that experience. The value for food was not as expensive as other places we dined. However, that was our experience. I will say that a tul tuk driver did recommend that after we said we would do street food, he said it may not be the best experience depending on what our stomach can handle. This very well could be a scam as most comments aligned, but for us, we had a good time and did not feel cheated.

Simple but Incredible restaurant with awesome view on the Terrasse on the city skyline and the river. Prices are OK, not cheap not expansive, absolutely worth it. Service was very friendly and quick. Food was delicious and the Ambiente was making it even better. Totally worth coming here.
